Can I save a scan and continue later?
Yes. Save the scan session as a .dacscan file, then load that file to continue recovery. A session file is not a backup of your data; keep the source device or disk image available and avoid changing it.
Which systems and recovery modes are supported?
Data Recovery supports Windows and macOS, with a wizard and a standard mode. Standard mode offers deleted, formatted, raw and resume recovery. Nine interface languages are available in settings.
What should I do after accidentally deleting files?
Stop writing new data to the affected drive. Install recovery software and save recovered files on a different drive to reduce the risk of overwriting lost data.
Can I scan a USB drive or memory card?
Connect the device to your computer and check that the operating system detects it, then select it in the recovery tool. If the device disconnects repeatedly or makes unusual noises, stop using it.
Why are some recovered files incomplete?
Recovery depends on how much of the original data remains. Overwritten or damaged data may prevent a file from opening correctly. Preview the results where supported before saving.
